Hey everyone, I recently picked up some 243 heads off an 08 LS4, I mentioned that I was going to do the trunnion upgrade when I get around to building them, but someone said that the 08 243s might've already had the upgraded trunnion. Does anyone know for sure? If I can save a few bucks I will, but if they should be upgraded I'll add them to the list, no problem.

Did the rocker arms come with the heads?

 

If you mean GM upgraded the rockers in 08, I doubt it. ALL LS rockers are the same within "head groups"(rectangular and cathedral), except LS7. GM never did trunnion upgrades.

 

Just buy the Straub bronze bushed trunnions and be-done with it.
