Question First LSX?

My apologies if this is in the wrong category.

I have a little bit of mechanical experience (never pulled an engine or anything along those lines however.)

Would you say that an LSX is a noobie friendly swap? The host car is a '85 Firebird.

Thanks in advance.

Are you asking about the GMPP LSX crate engine, or LS engines in general?
Holley/Hooker has a full line of swap parts to put LS engines in cars like yours. Go to their site and look around.

Id say the lsx engine is very noobie friendly. Its simplicity and compact size make it such a great motor to swap.
