02+ LS6 Cam Idle speed?

02+ LS6 Cam Idle speed? i am asking this becasue i am thinking about a cam that will idle exactl where my stock cam is in my 01 Z28? I now have the 2.73 gear and stock converter back in the car and intend to keep it that way, my reasoning is that my new job is quite some distance away from home so the 2.73 gear is a much better pick for the highway that the 3.70 gear and i don't want to hassel of another converter. So i want a cam that will idle at 550rpm and act just like the stock one which is what i was told the LS6 cam will do.
Mine with stock tuning idles at 500 in gear. You wont be able to tell the differance from stock except in performance. I ran 12.10@112 with the stock tune and got 26mpg on the highway with an auto with a py3600 convertor and 3:23 gears.
