Currently have a lq block bored 4.060, 4.00 crank, 6.125 rods, dss flat top piston, Texas speed l92 heads, fast 102 intake and throttle body, and custom cam from tick. Th400 with circle d converter. Mwc fab 9 with 3.89 gears. Motor was put together years ago and I'm just now getting to the point of testing it. This is my first ls build and I had a buddy help me figure oujt what to go with. Here's where I'm at with the car. It's a nitrous car however I feel like it should be faster than it is on motor. It's ran a best of 11.3 at 115.8 mph with 26 inch tires. My 60ft is horrible at a 1.6 and i cant footbrake the car past 2100rpm or it pushes the car. I know a trans brake is in the future but im wondering if its down on power from wrong parts thrown together. Have not been to the track on spray since its virtually extinct around here. I've always felt the car should be faster but I'm clearly missing something. I will get cam specs tomorrow when I dig through receipts. The car is pretty gutted as well, lightweight carpet, no rear seats, no a.c., k member, torque arm, bumper supports gone, inner fenders gone. What times are you guys thinking I should be running

 

Need wheight and cam specs to give a detailed analysis of what it's making. Your parts seem to be ok from what you listed. 1.6 isn't horrible but a tranny brake would really help that out. What tire are you running?

 

I'd have to say the car weighs 3400 with me in it, hasn't been on any scales yet. 242.6/258.3 - .6302/.61628 - 113.1 degree cam was specd out by martin when he was still with tick performance, tire I had on the car before was an et street type r. 275/50/15
