Hello all!

Need help identifying whether this a crack or not. Block is from a '99 LS1 and the pictures are taken inside the valley.

It's a bit raised from the rest of the surface and doesn't look like a crack when I look at it closely (might be wishful thinking though). I'm hoping it's just the infamous casting marks that sometimes appear on aluminum blocks, but wanted to check with some experts before I dump money I to a new block for no reason.

Anyone seen this before or have any insight?
