Im not saying that getting the specs to the g5x3 cam and then having another company making the cam is right, but i also dont think that dictating what other people are allowed to say(or type) is right either.

You can say anything you want about LG Motorsports, any G5Xx cam or whatever... noone is stopping you. The cam specs are the ONLY thing that is kept secret and IMHO should stay that way if the shop thinks so. Its their cam, they designed it, they R&Ded it, and now they are marketing it.

As for the T-Rex post, call thunder and see if they will give you all the valve events of the cam, I bet you they dont. They will just give the general info as in lift and duration.

Well , I gotta tell ya.
When I ordered the G5X-2 a year and 1/2 ago I never had any dealing with
Lou or LG motorsports and BEFORE talking with Lou over the phone I actually
had SEVERAL on line disputes with him over not posting cam specs.
I said "I would NEVER buy a cam without knowing the specs".
After seeing RAGEman's dyno and track times, I did just that.
I really didn't care about the specs, I wanted power...and that's what I got.
Now I TRUST Lou and Louis and I could give 2 ***** what the specs are.
If they called me and said "Use this new cam, it will kick ***"
I would use it and not give a **** what the specs are.

Thats not a problem. You could have just saved your time and said (what you felt) that in the beginning. Thanks Country. Problem solved. Do me a favor and delete my account.

Geez guys, it's not that big of a deal in my opinion. I don't think we need to start calling people names and whatnot. If someone wanted a cam and the specs to it, great, try to get them, if you can't get them, then don't buy the cam if they mean that much to you. I bought the cam because it makes big power on stock heads, I don't plan to add heads, so I don't care what the specs are, as long as the cam works properly with my setup, I am happy, and it does.

If I add heads, I will call Lou or Louis, tell them what I have and ask them to help me get a set of heads that work for this cam. Simple as that. People are getting all upset of something so stupid and small, it's silly guys. No need to get all bent out of shape over specs, if you don't like the fact that you can't get them, don't buy the cam, plain and simple.

It's been known for MONTHS that the cam specs aren't out, and people buy it anyway, it works, and that's what "most" people want to know. Lou and Louis are reasonable guys, they will work with you if you are looking to add heads, etc, they want their products to work and wouldn't shut out a customer over specs, I am pretty sure.

P.S. I get about $10k a month in royalty checks from LGM

I think you guys should let the dyno numbers talk and quit talking mess on the computer. As for the specs...they will work very nice with the heads that go on ICONZ28's car.

Its ok Nick. Country is right and my mouth will stay shut. LG has a business for a reason. They make great products and probally do great work. I respect that and i will not tell what the specs are from here on out.

I agree Nick, the dyno numbers are proving themselves already, I am one that is proof, and there are plenty others. That cam is gonna scream in his car, and I can't wait to see what it does with heads on there. Are the heads a stage II or III, etc? I know you said no flow numbers, just curious to what they compare to so I can know when the dyno numbers are final.

Hey Scott. Have you gone back to the track yet? Curious? Or are you waiting for winter time?

Hey, pretty much like all us G5X3 owners, don't know shat!

I made a post in here the day after I went, last Friday. Weather sucked *****, ended up with a 12.313@113.20mph with a 1.833 60ft. DA came out to aruond 4500 ft roughly. No traction at all, I know I can nail a 1.6x 60ft and then I will be in the 11's. Not too shabby for a 3800+ lb car
