Cam recommendation I have a LQ9 swap in a 86 Vette with 5.3 ported Heads, LS2 ported intake, Edelbrock 90MM TB Melrose Headers, 3" with x-pipe exhaust, Morel lifters, Rocker Trunion up grade, Lunati dual springs, 4L60 (700R) Trans with TCI Street fighter Converter and 3.45 Gears. The car has great street manner and has ran 11.37 @ 119 mph The cam that's in the setup now is a Comp cam
Basic Operating RPM Range:
1,500-6,800
Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift:
226
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift:
226
Duration at 050 inch Lift:
226 int./226 exh.
Advertised Intake Duration:
275
Advertised Exhaust Duration:

Advertised Duration:
275 int./275 exh.
I going to put a 92mm Fast Intake with 42 LBS injectors on. I was told a cam will be a larger gain, but I want to have good idling and driving manners.
Any suggestion on a good cam

Unfortunately we can't have it both ways here. If you want more high rpm power from a cam you will always sacrifice some drivability and idle....no two ways about it. Of course a good tune helps but it only can do so much
