Default 6.0 oil pressure issue

I have a fresh stock 6.0 Gen 3 rebuild i just installed in a 2004 silverado. The block was cleaned and new cam bearings installed.Upon starting the motor the first time the oil pressure registered 30 psi at cold start and dropped to 0 in a matter of seconds.I am using 10w30 and when the oil pickup was installed i was careful installing the o ring.It has the dumbell in the rear of block and small plug in the front of the block. The oil filter is full of oil as well.Any ideas of what it may possibly be?

If the oil filter is orange; they have a tendency to collapse internally. Try popping a new brand X filter.
I’ve seen this happen plenty over the years with stock car guys too
Only other explanation I’d have for your symptoms is the rod bearings have eaten themselves to death from out of round rod Big ends

Rod and mains bearings are new as well as crankshaft....would improperly installed cam bearings cause 0 pounds of oil pressure or just irratic oil pressure?

Are you sure the barbell is in the block? Oilpump shimmed during install vs. just tossing it on like SBCs?
