Default coated bearings on sbe?

Having my ls1 rebuilt and looking into calico coated clevites main and rods. Has stock crank with standard journals that has been polished and stock rods. Has anybody put them in with stock bottom end and know they will work with stock parts? Thanks

They will work fine. You can use stock replacement or the high performance aftermarket bearings with the stock crank, but an aftermarket crank needs more specific bearings. What part numbers are you looking at?

CALMS2199H on mains
CALCB663HN on rods

Stock journals means unturned stock diameter. 2.1" rod pins and 2.560" mains. Within that you can also get plus .001" or minus .001" oil clearance. The part numbers you listed are standard diameter and standard oil clearance, same as from the factory.

so these should work since the stock crank was only lightly polished right. It wasn't turned
