Ls1/T56 240sx What’s going on everyone just wanting some feedback on cam selection for my chassis. Long story short I finally bit the bullet and have a 80k mile 01 Ls1/T56 with fueled racing swap kit to replace my sr20det in my 240sx. I currently have the motor out of the car but want to do some maintenance/performance before installing. I have full gasket kit, new oil pump, timing chain and water pump. After reading for days on cam selection I am torn.
The 240sx will be mostly a weekend warrior but will take mountain trips and such also. Chassis weighs roughly 2700lbs with a 4.08 rearend. The ls1 has ls6 Intake, lid, 3in exhaust w/ longtubes and will have an appropriate clutch for the power aka not ls7 clutch. I cannot decide between a simple 224-228 and single behive combo or a larger cam such as tv2/Polluter/Ms3 and associated better double springs/hardened pushrods. I would love to have 400rwhp I’m such a light chassis and am used to driving heavy cam/clutch cars. I figured being so light and the 4.08 gear an ms3 or such cam would really fit with the ls6 intake, ported tb, lid. Heads will come eventually since they can be installed in the car. Any help or guidance would be awesome!!

Cant offer much help since I went with boosted setup but wanted to reach out and say whats up. Nice chassis for sure and you will enjoy the powerband of the LS or the SR. If you go with the larger cam I would suggest looking at the BTR Dual Spring Kit.
