Default H/C plug choice.

I put it here to get more feedback from internally modded guys. I'm running AS 5.3's (11 to 1), TR224, and 28.5-29 timing at WOT. I've always ran TR55's at .055, but with the heads and bump in compression I'm not sure. I've seen alot of guys run TR6's, but if the car isn't having detonation issues would the TR55's made slightly more power? Thanks.

John

John, i asked this question and the TR55's came out to be the choice. Remember i had the TR6's in it.

really? from my understanding the tr6's were better for higher compression motors? i ran tr55's gapped @ .055 with my bolt on setup and was looking at the tr6's gapped @ ~.043.

what are your tr55's gapped at?

Try the TR55's. If it starts breaking up, then switch to TR6's.
