rod knock

Default rod knock

Need help trying to figure out if I have rod knock.. the first vid was before I fixed the bent push rod the second is after I fixed it

Yea.. the lifters were good on the drivers side.. will check passenger side next

Also had a bent pushrod, so we fixed it put all back together and made the noice it’s making in the second video I posted

Speed of the click makes me think it's too slow to be a rod, but it sounds more like a rod than a lifter but still not right. Maybe it's just the way I'm hearing the audio. The shrill during the startup was interesting too. Have you dropped the accessory drive belts to make sure it isn't something in the accessories?

My car is at the shop right.. I was debating on getting the motor pulled.. the lifters were good when we checked them, so I guess I’m going to check the accessories like you said
