I think a 244/248 type cam will have more overall usable power on your particular setup, and will have better drivability as well. If it were me i'd do no less than a 4k stall, but really even something like a 3600 would be ok considering a 6500 shift point along with the rest of your build and goals

I would agree with this. Drive it in the morning a few times with no defrost and your windows start to fog up... I would seriously reconsider.

this car wont be driving in the am only to car shows in the afternoon from like noon to 4 pm and the drag strip id go around the same time. I have another car for a dd so I wont be using this in the winter it'll sit in the garage from like late oct to like march April depending on the whether ive had this car for 3 years and never had an issue needing it amd actually never used it as the compressor and such was already removed since the day i brought it home. Ao I didnt need it then I dont see needing it now lol

A 408 with a big stall is gonna be a spin monster

I would suggest adjustable shocks and lca relocation brackets in the back. I run Strange single adjustables with bilsteins on the front. I've been 1.52 60' with bolt ons and converter. Get dual adjustable if you want better.

You'll need drag radials at minimum. And 315's are more tire than 275 so that's good, but even a 315 street tire will spin real bad and have you in a wall. I had 315's on my SS and even with only bolt ons and a stall it would skate all over the damn place till about 50 mph. Don't risk your car by running crap tires.

Good idea. Relocation brackets are cheap and some rear adjustable shocks are pretty cheap.

I went 1.6 60 ft times with no drama at all on stock shocks and relocation brackets.
