Default What's it go for?

Hey guys, just a quick question to pick y'alls brain. I currently have a ls1 short block that has:
stock crank
gen 3 rods
new hypereutectic flat top pistons
Mahle piston rings
Clevite rod, main, cam bearings
No cam in it

Has all the block sensors on it, gen 3 front cover. No rollers,

What do you guys value it at? I plan to upgrade to 6.2 is only reason I want to sell it..

I just sold an LM4 346ci short block done by Thompson Motorsports with 20k miles for $1k, waited 6+ months and went through at least 3 buyers who never came through. I'd say yours should start at $1,400 obo if you want to move it.

I have it posted for $1800, partially to start high for low ballers. I wouldn't mind taking around $1500 for it though. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't starting too high since I sold my last L96 for $1500 complete but needed some cleaning up. I paid $1200 for my l96 so it seemed like a good deal. This block has been gone through completely. Bearings, hone, new pistons/ piston rings. Cleaned up crank, just wish it had better rods for more interest.

People looking for an LS1 on Craigslist aren't looking for a beefed up LS1, they're looking to replace a toasted block. People looking on CL for an LS for power are looking for a 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L. Good luck, but I think you'll hold onto it for a while at that price.
