Default Patroit ls heads

I bought a car that came with a pair of patriot heads. I would like to know a little more about the heads but cant seem to find anything. I know people have mixed emotions of the patriot heads but i would like to know if anyone has or had a pair with the number 4468 stamped on them. Any info would be appreciated. Also, i already called promaxx and they said they couldn't go back or find anything on them.

You'd need to measure the intake valve and that would probably tell you if they are stage 1 or stage 2. Not sure of the difference between stage 2 and stage 3.

Do you have pics of the stamp # . To determine if they are stage 2 you need to measure the valve 2.02 = Stage 2 Patriot did not leave the casting # on the heads , so would want to measure your Combustion chamber also .

In short a real popular alternative to the then expensive 243 heads where they would port the 6.0 317 castings (same basic ports as a 243). The way they would get the compression up is by decking the heads quite a bit.

Some folks did well with them back in the day, some folks had problems. A search in the 09-13 timeframe will tell you what you want to know.

They did offer a 6.0 heads with welded chambers for High Compression ..... but the basic offering for 6.0 heads was 68cc 70cc and 72 cc and their preferred casting was the 035 die cast
