I'm getting some new 243 heads/TBSS intake thrown on my LQ4 this week. Here is a list of some parts I'm getting swapped out while the heads are off for general maintenance as it has 200k miles.

LS2 Timing Chain (SME-143012)
Oil Pump (SUM-121170)
LS7 Lifters/trays
LS9 head gaskets
Already has LS6 valve springs

Anything else I should do??

 

If you still have the stock rockers you get the bushing upgrade kit.

 

 

Yup! Upgrading the bushings. And going LS9 because it was cheap, and will be overkill for this build lol.
