Thanks,,,,,I’m shooting for 450 with a 102 I’ll be happy with 430 or so with present intake

The only way I could see gaining 50 on an intake swap like that is if the intake was the only bottleneck. Acting like a restrictive plate

I did remove the MAF and went to a speed density tune also. What you said is exactly right. The engine build was bottlenecked by the intake system. Engine can't breath it can't make power!

I'm very surprised that BBK intake was that huge of a restriction on a basic heads and cam LS1. I thought it performed similar to a LS6 intake for the most part. Good info to know
