me and some friends are going to be taking out my 98 motor to find what all went wrong....anyway.... can anyone tell me or give me a link to a good "how to" on taking out the motor....its also an A4...take the tranny with it or unbolt and leave it in there?....all those kinds of questions and anwsers im looking for....thanks for any help on this matter

The easiest and more time efficient is to take it out of the bottom.
