Default pulling engine,leave intake on??

Hey guys, i have started my task of removing my busted up ls1!! I have searched for about 2 days here and there gearing up for the big de-installation..i chose to go out of the top and drop my tranny first..(i just reinstalled it about 3 weeks ago so it should come out fairly easy) my question is can i leave my intake on to get the motor out..Not that it really matters for taking it out, but the reinstallation is what im worried about. it just seems like it is going to be a biotch to install with the motor in the car..i know there are thousands who swap intakes with the motors in the car but i have always putem on on the stand, that way i can ensure they seal properly. I know once you run your bead of silicone you get ONE shot at dropping the intake down as not to rip your bead up and cause it to leak..just seems like with how far the motor is it will be difficult to hit the spot the first time.. also would be a hell of alot easier to torqe properly..
thanks matt

You don't need silicone. Take it off first and you'll see why.
