Default Roller lifter ID

Ok so i bought a lm7 from the junkyard a year ago. the lifters in it look diffrent than the ones i have seen. Is this a stock lifter that gm used or are they aftermarket? they have 5g1 stamped on them and the only ones i can find that look like that are from howard cams or comp.

I’ve found conflicting info on this subject in the past, but from what I’ve gathered, GM started using the ls7 lifter in all its engines in 09? I think. The lm7 was out of production in 07’, so the lifters you have are probably the pre-ls7 unit?

See if someone nearby has a CamDoctor. Or send the cam to someone who does. It will tell you everything about it.

Not saying you're wrong, but single beehive springs are available in lifts up to .625. So....
