I would like to know if im looking at my cam spec card correctly, so help from people with knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated

I have seen the equation LSA - ICL= amount of advancement which in my case would be 4° if installed at TDC but I want to be 100% sure cause if I'm reading the card right it says it's set at 5° advance at TDC

 

The 5 degrees at the top isn't advance, its simply when the valve opens.
You're correct in assuming that there is 4 degrees of advance ground into the cam.
I've used this same cam twice. Very happy with it both times.
