Doing a 383 and as always the clearance for the windage tray is always an issue. Using washers as spacer to get the clearance I need. Now, without much thinking I decided to cut the tray to accommodate the pick up tube and not have to worry about it bottoming out. Question is, did I mess this up or will it still be ok to run. Pic attached...….

You probably want to add a 0.060" thick washer to the main cap stud nut to space it down a bit back to the stock height.
