Default PTV Clearance

I'm running a stock LQ4 block with 243 heads milled .030" using GM MLS gaskets. I'm interested in upgrading to a TSP 229/236 .629/.605 112 LSA cam. Should I have any PTV clearance issues?

My guess is it may get close. I know I had room that I was comfortable with, because I checked mine. I would for sure check it. Your cam has a little more lift than mine, and a hair more duration, but the cl is different. I can;t remember which way that affects clearance. I think I had almost .100 on the exhaust side, and thats the chase side.

The lower the LSA or the more the overlap, the greater the chance of valves hitting pistons.
