Compression ratio Hi there,
I read that the standard compression ratio on a ls1 is 10.1:1.
I have tried to use a calculator to work it out using the following info I found but it doesn't quite work out the same, it was about 10.3:1.
bore Dia.-3.898
stroke-3.622
piston type- flat top
piston vol.-0.0cc
piston deck height- -.006
gasket bore-3.910
gasket compressed thickness-0.054
chamber vol. 66.67
if anyone could tell me where I'm going wrong would be much appreciated because I'm trying to work out my compression ratio with different heads to find the ones I want before I buy them.
