Default Cam

i am ordering my cam tomorrow but i need to know last minute opinions. i like the TR224 561 cam but the TR230 looks good to. i was still wanting streetability. going on with a 5.3 S2 TEA heads at the same time so any opinions on these cams or other cams would be helpful.

If you plan on full tune and have at least a 3000 stall I'd go with the 230 to get the most out of those heads. You will need headers and a good exhaust for it to breath.

If you want to go all out then the 230 but if not then 224.The 230 will idle rougher just the way you want it and make more power. However you will need headers to take full advantage so dont be surprised if its not all that you expected at first. The car has to breath to make power.Of course JMX has stock manifolds and his car hauls.

I posted a sound clip of the TSP228R in this thread. Were you building up a new engine or just doing heads/cam, I posted on your thread on Anythingcars.com where you asked about machine shops. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
