You're doing a great job of illustrating why the stars align between Intake closing point, converter, and available traction. From the audio, was the softened hit into 2nd one of the keys to winning against the McLaren or were the tires heating up during the spin and began doing their jobs while the engine stayed in it's powerband?

Were shifting the car at a measly 6000 right now , but now that we know the trans Is solid and I'll have my duals on this week, werrw turning it up so it doesnt fall do out of the band on shifts 7000 rpm shifts = staying at the top of the band .
Also installing a BMR tq arm today I picked up used locally yesterday.

The BMR arm should take a lot of flex out of the rear suspension.
