it's only the coolest most badass 4gen induction on the planet
it does require some mods to make it fit tho. Nothing super major but you will have to use a burkhart or mwc bumper support, pins or aero latches for the hood. And you'll have to feed it air from wherever you choose. Here's how i did mine.
The holes flanking the bowtie feeds the duggy box. It has filter provisions so it can be used as a dd worthy type of piece.

It is expensive. I have no set in stone price. I have only made a few for some buddies. There's alot of carbon in it. It's almost 4ft long and is pretty time consuming to make. I would likely price them in the 1000-1250 range, 1000 being for bare carbon and 1250 being for a cleared one. That would be pretty reasonable for it really. Just to get a few more out there. There's nothing else like it out there.
By comparison the chris1313 prostock set up will work ok from a temporary performance stand point but the id of the tubing is smaller than the tb. And there's no filter to run it all the time. I think you have to remove the ac also. Mine works with ac and I've driven it for several hundred miles. In the rain also....but it's alot more $. Both have there place.

If you could get that duggy box moulded out of plastic you could offer it as a cheaper alternative. It would be heavier though.

Yea.....it would lose some of it's pazaz tho. Last time i checked into getting something made it was rather costly up front.
I think anyone who would one probably has spent enough to want carbon at that point. Using fibreglass wouldn't even be much of a savings because it's a pretty labor intensive piece. 3 separate molds total. So that's 3 molds to prep, fabric to cut, peel ply/breather/bag, then trimming/fitting together, carbon it together, trim that/sand it, fit the lower filter box, install fasteners, make and install filter rail, sand and clear the upper 3-4 times.
they're alot of work.

After looking at this thread I'm now interested in the summit ghost cam. I have an Texas speed 228/228 .600 112 cam i haven't installed yet. Which would you think is better for my ls1 with dorman ls2 intake?

Mavn brings up a good point about the behavior. He'll be testing the Pro LS Stage II SUM-8707 (226/238 113 + 5 .600/.600) in the near future and can give you a clearer point of reference.

I haven't commented on this thread yet, but this is good stuff. The x-pipe thing... it gets really wild when you start pushing into the upper 500s. The 3" Y-pipe is just not enough. 3" cutout is good at 450 tho.
And those cams from Summit look very good. I assume they're ground by Howards?
