Hi
I have a new chevy engine for my truck.
c71164469 laser printed at the left handside at the back of the block. And also 12567392 when you look from behind.

The 12567392 GM part number is for a 5.3 block, specifically a LM7.

Yes, but that block also supports the smaller 4.8 liter engine. If it has pistons with dished tops, its a 5.3.
