5.3 Installed Height I have the LS2 valve springs for 243 heads I'm putting together. https://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Performance/809/12625033/10002/-1
They say 1.800" installed height. I have between 1.760-1.770" on all of them.
Heads are from an L33, aluminum 5.3. Stock springs on these heads measure exact same as my new springs in every way.
Using an LQ9 cam if that matters. Coil bind at installed heights mentioned above is a non issue.
Should I look for offset retainers?
Run them as is, like the factory did?
