thank you! Will do! Sounds much better than a carb setup

And im pretty sure to run a 350 you would have to remove the passenger wide waper arm? to make room for the distributor, and not sure about hood clearance for a air filter.
if you dont mind a SBC you could even find a ragged Lt1 car for CHEAP CHEAP and use the drivetrain and wiring out of it. A cammed, stalled, Lt1 makes for a fun street car ive had a few. My last one ran 7.90's in the 1/8th cam, stall, and headers
Just throwing more options out there as I have also had the same plan as you at one point because there are ALOT of V6 cars out there that are pretty clean for cheap.
so be on the lookout for a junkyard ls1 car and i can take out all that stuff and itll bolt right up to my lq4? What kind of car is common that i should be on the lookout for? Thank you for all your help

a junkyard car will probably already have the engine and trans pulled witch you will need a lot of stuff from.
best thing to do would be to look hard for any 98-02 v8 Camaro or frirebird that has a blown engine or is knocking or is wrecked, that’s in rough shape and hopefully get it for cheap.
Just a short list of things you will need
oil pan
exhaust
wiring harness
ac compresssor
ac lines
radiator
hoses
all angine accessories
balancer
intake/fuel rails/ injectors fuel lines
Front k member
computer?
Fuel pump?
don’t forget the v6 car will have a open rear differential, so you will wanna swap that out too so your not spinning one tire all the time.
you can run the ls1 heads if you wanna save some money
Or you can get a set of 243 heads pretty cheap
Or run 823 heads and a ls3 intake

I'm in the process of doing what you're doing. I found a rust free V6 car, so I'll be repainting it and LQ4 swapping it. What everyone is saying is the best way to go, get a donor car. I started pricing out all the different odds and ends and yeah..... it's gonna be really expensive. The accessories and brackets are pretty pricey, intake, oil pan, etc. Plus all the sensors, random parts under the hood. Donor car is the way to go.
