Default Need help on this build I have in mind.

Ok so I know what I want to do to the car just don't know if I'm missing anything along with what I'm trying to do
I have a ls1 engine wanting to change the heads to a prc 2.5 ls6 heads with dual vaul springs. Just don't know what cc to chose out 58-64 cc...... I want to put a 228r 600/600 110 lsa for a good idle will this be a good combo for heads?. I'm also going with a 102 manifold & thortle as well.. so far.

too much heads, save $ 243's 90TB and let it be a hot LS6 I got a set for sale off my 06 LS2 corvette, comp beehive spring upgrade, seals and tool steel retainers, and if your still set on heads LOOK at Trick Flow, sometimes breathing to easy loses HP.

won't the stage 2.5 perform better then the stage 1 ls6 heads.... would it also complement the 228r cam I want to instal the original motor I have is stock everything being nodded due to engine being out car.. might go with a 92 fast match tb as well dont see 102 fast as an imporvment after doing more research

If you look at the flow specs between the Stage 1 and the 2.5, there is barely any improvement between the two. Keep the Stage 1's...

I agree with Mr. G. you got to look at the flow #'s for a given lift. I went with the Trick Flow "fast as cast" because I already had a FAST cathedral port intake manifold and I wanted to stay CP, but also TF made this particular head specifically for the LS2 the cam I'm running has .551 lift the flow on these heads at .500 just blow everyone else away. No matter what head or intake combo the idea is to keep intake air velocity high.

I agree completely velocity is the key in a N/A engine build

What octane fuel are you wanting to run?

I'd go for 59-60 cc myself.
