need an early LS6 cam Ok, I think what I may now do is get an earlier LS6 cam, as they are a little bit milder than the 02+ cam.
I can accept losing a little low end because within a couple months I will be buying a torque converter.
Does anyone have the cam that they would like to sell me?
I will also looking to buy some more springs. Some one is offering me some 918s for 100 dollars, but I think they are even better than the LS6 springs, which I don't know if I need. I'ld like to get some springs that will handle .550 of lift for cheap.

you might be able to pick up some 915's, they are good for around .550...but ls6 springs are just a good peice of mind. they work great for the ls6 cams, and they last forever on it. why go any cheaper then that? you could prolly find a set for cheap on these boards. post a WTB in the parts wanted, and skim the For Sale section.
