LS1 bored over .030
Some of us have direct experience with having an LS1 block honed for rebuild.
My 91 RS has a 383 LS1 that used an 00 aluminum LS1 block punched .005 over. The engine builder, a SAM graduate said a 200 shot should be doable and it live for a while. Maybe a little more if he helped do the tune for spray. Also that block should be good for another hone .005 if needed later if I didn't blow it up too bad with spray. I later decided the 383 cost too much to see spray.
Sometimes an LS1 block gets hosed due to imprecise set for honing the block.
