Timing components I am currently building a GEN 3 6.0 iron block. I purchased a new three bolt cam (trick flow) and just want to make sure on some other timing components. The crank is the stock 24 tooth. A new 1x cam sprocket from GM is on the list. Is it possible to run a front mounted cam sensor? Also I’m looking at using the GM timing chain and new crank sprocket even though the old one looks fine. Piece of mind I suppose and it’s cheap.

I guess I should have mentioned I don’t have a harness. Basically started with a stock short block. It was disassembled, Hot tanked, cylinders honed, new cam bearings, installed new main and rod bearings, new file fit rings, and now I’m here.
