About to pull the trigger on a few parts for an upcoming head swap and need a second opinion - planning on throwing some new lifters in there (and I’m on a bit of a budget so high end lifters are out)..do I go with LS7 or Morel 6504/5315? Also upgrading fuel injectors - Bosch, Denso or Fast? Car is an ‘02 Camaro with most bolt on’s, 228r cam, Circle D 3400

If you are on a tight budget, the LS7 lifters will be fine.

Budget wise ls7 lifters will do but stay away from the ebay specials...ive had nothing but bad luck with supposed ls7 Delphi lifters collapsing, get them from a dealer. If you want something slightly better than oem than Id go with the Morel. When I had my 228r cam..stock injectors were fine..if your goin to be doing more mods in the future then step up with a deka 60 or 80. Lots of good options for injector at the level and easy to tune.

Thanks for the replies guys..I ended up ordering the LS7 lifters from summit so I’m sure I’m getting a legit lifter (heard of similar “knock off” issues such as yours through eBay or amazon)..I’m not sure what makes these things different (2 different versions of LS7 lifters on Texas Speeds site) but these appear like the Delphi versions

I picked up a pair of 243 takeoffs..they’re currently at Texas Speed getting a port job and new springs installed..hoping to have them back here in a couple weeks for the install
