Default 408 build help

Hey guys so this is my first time building a engine I dropped off my 6.0 iron block to the machine shop and wanted to know what are people running for a rotating assembly engine builder recommended k1 forged crank and callies Compstar rods and Wiseco pistons. But I wanted to ask everyone on here which one to get My goal is to have a fun street car full interior with a/c I would like to make a 1000whp one day with a turbo set up but for now I’ll just spray it untill the funds come available. Also is there any upgrades I can do to the block to give more longevity and strength. In a noob at this so please feel free to chime in Also will it be okay to run prc ls6 heads and a fast 92 on a 408

K1, Callies, and Wiseco are all proven for that power level. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them, but you may want to look into a pin upgrade for the pistons.

The wrist pins that connect the piston to the small end of the rod. The pins Wiseco uses are pretty decent, but can start flexing in the 800whp range. You can ask for an upgrade to a stronger pin which can be a heavier wall thickness or a stronger material altogether. Other than that, the rest of the components would be just fine.

What they said.

Read good things about K1. Have had good experiences with Callies and Wiseco on two strokers.
