Default Lh6 vin m 2008

I'm new to ls found a 2008 lh6 vin number m all aluminum motor so what is it ls1 or what

Thanks going into 1994 s10 short box

LS1 was an aluminum block 5.7L engine that came in Corvettes, Camaros, GTO's, and CTS-V's, built until 2004
The LH6 is an aluminum block 5.3L truck engine built between 2007 and 2014. Most truck engines of 5.3 and 6.0L had cast iron blocks, but some like the LH6, LH8, LC9, and LH9 were aluminum block. ALL these are regarded as LS -type engines. The LS1 was only one model of these.

Ok thanks I want to replace the intake to get a lower one and cable one

Yes it came out of a chevy truck

Any LS1or LS6 intake will fit along with any 3-bolt cable throttle body. Very common.

Get some of the SA Design (CarTech) books on LS engines. They are a wealth of info.
