Default dowel pins

I read somewhere on here that the dowel pins (head to block) for LS are the same as for a big block. Can anyone confirm this? The bbc ones are a lot cheaper.

Are you talking about these? Chevrolet Performance Cylinder Head Pins 12570326 ?

Or these ICT Billet Cylinder Head Dowel Pins 551275 ?

The price looks cheap to me.

From comments I've read, the ICT Billet pins may be too loose. Don't know about the CP ones, I avoid doing small orders with shipping. There's a set of 4 BB pins for $6 from a big online retailer you've probably heard of, that's why I asked. Or maybe I'll just try to clean the corrosion off the ones I have. Sort of surprising that they do get so corroded. There's some other signs also that water could have been seeping through the original composite head gasket, even though it didn't have any obvious leak.
