Found this in an oil pan I removed, no idea what it’s from. Anyone?

6.0 LQ4 that had a Chevy performance oil pan on it.

Is it metal? Looks like the same opening style as a pick up tube screen

It is metal with some sort of coating. I’ll check the pickup tube, thanks for the tip!
