An recent issues happin to anyone else.. Wife picked me up from work an the car sounded like it was going to cut off.. a few feet later it did.. I restarted it and limped it home. I have a pretty old Coolant temp sensor that has a crack right after the connector.. Could this be my problem?

 

Replace the sensor. It's telling the ECM the engine's getting hot and to shut down cylinders.

 

Did the water temp gauge on the dash indicate you were running hot?
