Default H/C/I or just C/I

1999 Z28 - LS1
4L60 (will swap a TH400 this summer)
LS6 intake with ported TB (not installed yet)
GTP injectors
Stock Heads
228/232 .600'' 114 TSP cam (not installed yet)
1 7/8'' headers
True duals dumped
3.73 gear 8.8''
28'' tall DR
Nitrous plate kit
Supporting suspension mods
Hopefully drop 200+lb
Weekend warrior - no prep - 1/4mile TNT car

I have a set of 243's but plan on having them CNC ported and build a 370+ci motor down the road when I go turbo.

Doing my cam/intake install later this month...

Should I put them on now and just buy heads later? How much am I missing out by leaving my stock heads on?

Thanks

depends on supporting mods and what cam you use. with that cam, i would definitely do heads.

no matter what, a FAST 102 will help. should probably go with a larger NW throttle body instead of the stock one. fast comes with bosses for nitrous, so that's a plus if you want to go that direction.

I’m just doing an LS6 intake, going turbo next season. Just want something fun this year.

I think I'll just have the heads CNC ported by TSP and put them on a built motor next year. I want to have fun with the car this season before tearing it apart.
