Default Affordable internals for a nitrous setup on a lq4.

Wanting to build a nitrous motor which will aslo be my first. I'm not sure what to replace and what to leave. I want a reliable build. Looking a 300 shot Max setup. I will be running a tbss intake not sure what size injectors to run. Not sure on what heads or cam. Will be running it with 04 gto ss exhaust. . Motor is going in 02 2500hd 2wd ext cab. First build any knowledge will be appreciated.

Gen 4 rods and ws6store pistons. Plate kit or direct port depending how much your spraying and how much you want to spend

Default Budget build.

I want to be able to really abuse the motor and have confidence in it. What cam is suitable for big shots.

i would call cam motion and have a custom grind made to suit your needs, cam will cost ya 389 + shipping. what intake manifold are you planning on running?

We’d suggest a Gen.4 rod and forged 2618 Summit Racing Pro Ls piston. You would need to have experienced a serious tuning error before taking out that combination

I agree with the gen 4 rods and summit pistons. People spray 300 on stock stuff all the time with out issue. I don't like the forward facing stock style intake/throttle body for more than a 250 shot with a plate. Would you consider a single plane and 4150 set up? Or a direct port on the tbss manifold
