Default Cam Potential

What kind of power numbers is this cam good for? I haven't seen anyone really running it. Seems like it'd work well with a turbo too.

TSP 228/232 .600'' 114LSA

LS6 Intake
243 heads
Headers
True Duals
Stalled 60e

Hopefully one of the boost masters and a few TSP 228/232 users will chime in with specific details.

Fwiw - IMO

The max hp & tq a TSP 228/232 .600'' 114LSA cam is good for will vary quiet a bit based the set up details. I'd think in a fully optimized NA LS1 up to 500 + whp could be possible with ported heads and all the bolt on's etc but typically 420 whp to 440 whp NA would be expected with the basic mods listed above. Stalled A4's the lower end and M6's the upper end of the whp range. NA the 78mm snout on a stock LS6 intake will hurt and be a bottle neck. The set up should make more with a turbo of course and the LS6 intake less of an issue due to the boost.

This cam strikes me as not ideal with a turbo, less than optimized. Most turbo set ups benefit from more split on exhaust duration than 4 degrees.

Examples of some turbo cams:

Summit's
Stage 1 Pro LS Ghost Cam. 222/233 .600/.575 115+3

BTR

Stage 2 Turbo Cam 226/231 .605"/.598" 113+4 STAGE 3 TURBO CAM 230/235 .609"/.610" 114+4

Thanks...TSP actually lists their 224/228 to work well with a turbo.
