243 not milled measurements?

Trying to order a cam.

243 heads from valve cover surface to deck is 4.740 +- .003 from what I measured.

Looks like .01 was taken off.
am I right?

FWIW I bought a 232 234 .600 .600 cam

Clearance appears to be .110 and .130.

Measuring from valve cover surface is not an accurate method to find out if heads have been milled. Maybe you could cc the heads with fluid to check (stock 243 heads are 65 cc I think)

I agree but I found the 241 measurements and went off that. At least kept me from going with a ms4 lol

Have you measured actual clearance? Is that the torquer v2 cam?

Yes cam is in and measured with dial calipers
