Default Camshaft Identification

I have seen a few LS camshafts and have a few OEM LS1 cams on the shelf. I just pulled one out of a 5.3L that looks like someone did a cam swap, Gen IV rods and gaskets. I was told it came out of a 2004 Avalanche. It does not appear to be stock cam. Although the lobes look and measure the same as a stock LS1 cam. I measured the lobe and sides with digital calipers. I have searched through images with camshaft markings with no luck. Maybe some one might be familiar with it or who may grind them? "2871k" and "CS138" are stamped on the back. Appreciate any help.8

That cam wasn't marked with anything that would give you a way to tell what it is.

Lift maybe, not duration. The best someone could do is mock it up in a short block and degree it.

My local auto machine shop measured the lift. Looks like it is an aftermarket cam with stock specs. Maybe Sealed Power? They probably pulled out a performance cam and placed this one in there when they sold the engine to the guy I got it from. Figures. At least they left the Gen IV rods in.
