Do I need balancing Im new to this so please be easy on me. I've searched internet many times to not really find a answer. I have a 2005 5.3 L59 I tore it down today to find spun main bearing. The engine has factory gen4 Rods with factory dished floating pin pistons. The main on the block was worn bad so I bought a 2002 5.3 Lm7. If I use the rods and pistons from the L59 on the good Lm7 crankshaft will I need balancing? Engine will have a budget turbo setup with Elgin E1840P camshaft will be Partial daily driver and see the dragstrip every now and then.
