I’ve found an engine 2006 6.0, hopefully has the beefier rods in it? It’s still in a truck so I can hear it run. Is there anything that will tell me what rods it might have other than pulling the pan. Vin maybe. As it’s not mine, pulling it out to find out if it has the early style rods and not buying it would not be the greatest for the seller.

 

If it's the original engine to the 2006 vehicle, it will have the later beefier rods with floating pins.
