Default LQ4 Block machine shop

Just got the engine block back from the machine shop they ran into some "fitment issues" with the cam bearings. Inspecting the block it looks like they reamed or honed out brand new cam bearings to fit the cam. Is this considered acceptable? The block is a 2002 LQ4 6.0

I have heard they do this from the factory too, line honing the cam bearings to ensure the are round once installed.
