Question Reusing bearings

After using the search button i wasnt able to gather enough info to make a decision,
im building an LQ4 with summit rods and pistons.

The engine ran smooth when pulled and had 40psi of oil pressure. My mind tells me to reuse the main, and rod bearings as long as they look okay since they have already conformed to the crank. Am i wrong? but then i think about how im running new rods. idk, someone please help and provide evidence (miles on build/power level) if possible
While you are here, whatre you using for main bolts/studs and power level?
Thanks!

You dont need to pull the main caps . So mains are good. I'd pull rods and make sure all the journals are fine on the Crank. I would buy new rod bearings for the new rods . But that's just me .

If you buy main studs you have to align hone. And if you align hone you might as well have the crank polished and assembly balanced and machined lolol

If you aren't doing anything to the crank (polishing, etc) I would still run the mains. Since you have the motor apart I'd pop the main caps off and take a look at the bearings and journals to make sure they're not thrashed.

For the rod bearings, I'd replace them. You're putting on a new rod with a different clearance for the journals, the odds of your factory bearing working fine are slim imo.

Did you rebalance or just run the rod and piston

I'm not planning to have them properly balanced but will weigh them all to decide what piston+rod and where
