Oil pump relief

My '05 LM7 is having oil pressure issues. Replaced the sensor and low oil pressure issues still there. Next step to to replace the O-ring and I thought, while there test the pressure relief valve if it can be reached. Guess that idea is out.
Chances that some debris is holding the pressure relief just a smidge open are pretty slim. Generally if the pressure relief opens for a split second and does'nt close completely usually almost instantly wrecks rod bearings first followed by mains and cam if it's kept running that long . If its a high mileage engine then wear or debris certainly either could be an issue. I would say more than likely an pick up tube oring issue but yes alot of possibilities

Thanks for the feedback. Engine has "only" 100K on it and has been treated kindly with regular oil changes. I'm really hoping it is the O ring and will be able to give an update later this week.
